Yoshihama-cho, Takihama.

Started production in Takihama under the name of "NAITO KOKI SEISAKUSHO".

First "NT" products brand drill jig bushing where marketed in Japan.

Nominated as a model factory for small and medium sized business labor management.

Started marketing general-purpose drill jig "ND Jig" and production of collet chucks on a made-to-order basis.

The merchandise division was seperated from NAITO KOKI SEISAKUSHO to form "NT TOOL CORPORATION"

Overseas development was initiated with export to the U.S.

Endmill chucks and New chamfering drills were marketed. Export to Asian countries (Taiwan, Singapore, Korea etc) started.

Concluded license agreement with Otto Bilz Germany to exclusively manufacture and sell their tooling products in Japan.

Head office and factory were newly built.

Fully computerized POS system was employed for sales and production management.

Started marketing of stub holders.

Based on the new business plan, the plant site was purchased (15900sqm).

Based on the series expansion program, stub holder type KD was introduced.

Opened Iida Factory at Iida City, Nagano Pref.

Started marketing of NC tooling (Hydraulic chucks and auto-depth control tapping chuck) for machining centers.

Started marketing of tool presetter"Simple Setter" and boring bar series.

CAD system was introduced in R&D and Engineering Department.
October.1987
Self-reversing tapping chuck was released.
1988
Started marketing of tool dialogue system Collet chuck series were expanded.
April.1990
Concluded license agreement with Wohlhaupter Germany to exclusively manufacture and sell their tooling in Japan.
November.1993
High speed data communication network was introduced in head office, factories and sales offices.
August.1994
For the first time in Japan, mass production of HSK tooling was started.

Entered into a technical assistance agreement wit Mapal, Dr. Kress Germany.

Hiroshima sales office was opened.

Achieved ISO9001 (JQA NO.1372) for all operations and products. First time in tooling industry in Japan.

ISO9001 was registered by UL (US) as well as AFAQ (France).

Opened Europe Branch Office in Aachen Germany as a technical service base.

Started marketing of "R-Zero" holders. January.2001
BT two-face contact system "AHO" was released.

Part-making factory (NT Thailand) that has as large as Iida Factory was opened in Hi-Tech Industrial Estate in Thailand.

Europe Branch Office was relocated to Frankfurt Germany.

Production was started in NT Thailand. NT USA Corporation was established as a local company.
